Liberals in Washington, D.C. are at it again, turning their backs on American taxpayers. The D.C. Attorney General, Brian Schwalb, just announced that the city will simply ignore President Trump’s bold tax cut. Why? He claims Congress acted too slowly to stop their own crooked plan. Once again, bureaucrats in our nation’s capital are twisting the rules to protect their grab for more of our hard-earned money.
This is the warped, backwards thinking we’ve come to expect from left-wing elites. Democrats in D.C. can barely keep the streets clean, but they sure know how to find loopholes to squeeze every last dime out of the middle class. Instead of following the will of the people—who desperately need relief from Bidenflation and skyrocketing costs—these liberal politicians are determined to block a tax cut that would put money back in Americans’ pockets.
President Trump gave this country hope with tax relief. He stood up for working people, not the corrupt D.C. insiders. But now, a partisan hack like Schwalb wants to toss Trump’s reforms in the trash just so the D.C. government can cling to every penny it grabs. It’s a classic liberal move—ignore the real needs of regular folks and focus on growing government power at any cost.
Patriots across the country should be outraged. By ducking Congress and rushing their own tax law through, D.C. liberals just spit in the faces of every taxpayer struggling to get by. You don’t see them in a hurry to fix crime or homelessness, but they never miss a chance to tax Americans even more. It’s proof—yet again—that Democrats’ priorities are upside-down.
Will conservatives finally stand up to these anti-American games? Or will we just keep letting globalist Democrats treat Washington like their personal piggy bank? Enough is enough. Americans deserve leaders who fight for them—not another arrogant, big-government charade in the swamp.
