Los Angeles is on fire—both literally and figuratively. The city just keeps stumbling from disaster to disaster, and liberal leadership under Karen Bass has done nothing but pour gasoline on the flames. Wildfires swallowed entire neighborhoods just over a year ago, costing families their homes, their savings, and sometimes even their futures. Instead of answers or accountability, all the city gets from Mayor Bass is empty talk and finger-pointing.
Now, the heat has landed squarely in her lap. The former Los Angeles Fire Department Chief, after being fired and silenced, is swinging back. He’s tired of the lies, tired of being thrown under the bus, and he’s taking Mayor Bass to court for spreading misinformation about who’s really to blame for the wildfire disasters. He saw firsthand how her lack of leadership left the department high and dry while real people paid the price.
This is what you get when radical liberals run your city. Instead of taking command, they blame everyone else, even the brave people risking their lives on the front lines. Bass couldn’t manage the chaos, but now she’s happy to play political games and rewrite history to protect her own image. Call it classic liberal hypocrisy: they talk a big game about caring for the community, but when the fire comes, it’s regular Americans and hard-working firefighters left holding the bag.
The whole situation is a textbook example of leftist incompetence and failed priorities. Our cities deserve leaders who stand tall in a crisis—not ones who run for cover when the pressure is on, then try to cover their tracks with legal threats and smear jobs. The globalist agenda has infected Los Angeles, leaving citizens vulnerable while the politicians look out for themselves.
Let’s be real—how much longer will Angelenos put up with liberal politicians who care more about their careers than their constituents’ lives? Maybe it’s time Los Angeles gets the leadership its citizens deserve, instead of one scandal after another. When will the people say enough is enough?
