The American people expect the State of the Union to be a moment of pride—a night to honor the country’s achievements and address its real problems. But once again, Democrats have proven how out of touch they are with the safety and sovereignty of this nation. Instead of respecting the solemnity of the evening, they turn it into a circus by dragging illegal aliens into the halls of Congress as their personal guests.
Only the modern liberal elite could be so brazen. Their message couldn’t be clearer: law-abiding Americans take a back seat while open borders activists get front row tickets to one of our nation’s most critical events. It’s a slap in the face to every voter who believes America’s laws should actually matter. Democrats don’t care about upholding the rule of law—only about virtue signaling to their radical base and pleasing globalists who want to erase national borders.
Let’s be honest, safety isn’t even on their radar. Every time they prioritize illegal aliens, they are telling the American people that politics is more important than the security of the President and everyone else in attendance. Security risks apparently don’t matter if it means another cheap shot at Donald Trump or a few more woke talking points.
Americans should be outraged, but unfortunately, this is what we’ve come to expect when liberal lawmakers run the show. They care more about breaking the law for political gain than for protecting legal citizens. The left wants to send a message—they’d rather stand with lawbreakers than those who built this country.
Is this the America people fought and died for? Or is it just another playground for reckless politicians who think rules and safety are for suckers? The Democrats made their choice—and once again, it’s the American people who pay the price.
