Tonight, America saw history in the making—and for once, Washington got it right. While liberals whine about “equity” and push woke nonsense, true American heroes finally got the recognition they deserve. The State of the Union became a battlefield for honor, not just empty promises and useless political theater.
Two warriors stood as living proof that courage and sacrifice are the backbone of a nation, not handouts or virtue signaling. Chief Warrant Officer Eric Slover, wounded and bleeding, didn’t back down when America needed him most. He flew straight into enemy fire, completing a mission that tore down one of the world’s worst dictators. That’s grit you won’t find on any Ivy League campus or inside a left-wing protest. Meanwhile, the media spends more time lionizing Greta Thunberg than the warriors keeping this country safe.
And then there’s Navy Captain Royce Williams—the kind of legend who didn’t need the spotlight. While the government hid his story for fifty years, this man took on Soviet fighter jets all by himself. Seven against one. No diversity quotas, no safe spaces, just guts and patriotism. It should outrage every American that globalist bureaucrats buried Williams’ victory just to appease foreign interests and keep up appearances with the Russians.
What set tonight apart from all the usual DC grandstanding? Instead of parading out celebrities and activists, the President made the moment about real sacrifice. How rare is that in Biden’s America, where law enforcement and the military are regularly smeared by the radical left? Instead, two Medals of Honor were awarded, right there in front of the whole country, reminding us what real justice and real leadership look like.
Let the woke left gnash their teeth. Tonight, the world saw America at its best—honoring the men who actually defend our freedom, not those who want to erase it. When was the last time you saw a liberal stand up for a war hero instead of some criminal or professional victim? Maybe the left should try saluting a Medal of Honor recipient for once instead of tearing down statues. Now that’s a lesson in courage they’ll never learn.
