It’s hard to believe, but Democrats once again showed the entire country exactly where their loyalty lies—and it’s not with the American people. During the State of the Union, President Trump announced something every family should be cheering about: the lowest prescription drug prices in the world coming soon to the United States. You’d think this would be a slam-dunk victory for every mom, dad, senior citizen, and hardworking family slammed by Big Pharma’s sky-high prices. But Democrats just sat there, stone-faced, refusing to stand or even clap.
Why? Is bringing relief to suffering Americans suddenly a partisan issue? For the left, it sure looks that way. They just can’t bring themselves to support a common sense, pro-America measure if it means President Trump is the one delivering. This is liberal hypocrisy exposed for everyone to see. They spend years pretending to care about struggling families—then, when Trump actually tackles the problem they love to talk about, they can’t even be bothered to pretend they’re happy.
Once again, the liberal elite is more interested in their radical agenda than in real solutions. Instead of celebrating drug prices going down, they’re too busy throwing a tantrum because their globalist friends and Big Pharma donors might not be happy. The Democrats’ anti-Trump obsession is so intense, they’d rather see Americans pay more for their medicine than give Trump a single ounce of credit.
It’s time to call this behavior what it is: anti-American. When Democrats refuse to stand for lower drug prices, they’re not just opposing the President—they’re turning their backs on the very people they claim to represent. And for what? To preserve their image on CNN? To please the international elite? To virtue signal for their friends in Hollywood? Average citizens across this country see right through it.
If the left can’t even stand up for lower drug costs, what else are they willing to block just to spite Trump? Maybe Democrats would rather see Americans struggle than watch him succeed. Guess what—Americans are waking up, and they’re not buying the liberal lies anymore.
