During the State of the Union address, Americans witnessed a sad but familiar circus from the so-called “Squad.” Instead of acting like leaders, Ilhan Omar and Rashida Tlaib chose to throw dramatic tantrums for the cameras. They rolled their eyes, fumed, and showed disrespect at every turn. President Trump was quick to call out their childish, attention-seeking behavior, pointing out that their antics reveal exactly how unserious and unfit they are for real leadership.
It’s embarrassing that grown adults elected to Congress can’t sit through a speech without pouting like kids who didn’t get their way. Maybe deep down, Omar and Tlaib just can’t stand any talk about American values or national pride. After all, their record proves it: these are the same Democrats who rush to defend America’s enemies while ignoring our own citizens. Instead of offering real solutions, they prefer to whine and blame everyone but themselves.
This isn’t just about bad manners. It’s about a bigger problem with today’s progressive left. Too many Democrats treat our country like a joke and see patriotism as some kind of insult. While millions of normal people watch, hoping for unity and leadership, radicals like Omar and Tlaib cling to outrage and division. They want to tear down American traditions, all to please their globalist donors and far-left fans.
You won’t hear the liberal media call them out, either. No, they’ll keep excusing these public spectacles, calling them “passionate” or “courageous.” But there’s nothing brave about being rude and divisive while the world is watching. If anything, it shows just how out of touch these politicians are from real Americans, who respect the country and want leaders with common sense.
Maybe it’s time for voters to ask themselves: Do you want Congress run by grown-ups, or by spoiled brats who throw fits when they lose? America deserves lawmakers who love this country, not actors who use every chance to insult it.
