Democrats keep proving they don’t give a rip about real Americans. At the latest State of the Union address, it couldn’t have been more obvious. President Trump stopped to honor the grieving mother of Iryna Zarutska—a woman whose life was ripped away by reckless Democrat policies. But did the left even bother to show her an ounce of respect? Of course not. Not a clap, not even a nod. Just cold silence from the same crowd that never misses a chance to preach about “compassion.”
This is today’s Democrat Party: heartless, arrogant, and totally disconnected from the pain they create. They will cry crocodile tears for illegal immigrants. They will throw America’s doors wide open for the globalist agenda. And then, when one of their own policies leads to tragedy, they go mute. Real families, real citizens, get left picking up the pieces while Democrats bury their heads and pretend they have clean hands.
The left would rather play political games than face the consequences of their failed open border schemes. They don’t want cameras on the mothers whose children suffer because of their decisions. Simply put, acknowledging that suffering means admitting fault. And we all know Democrats never admit fault. They’re too busy chasing woke fantasies to address the real heartbreak happening on American soil. Iryna Zarutska’s mother deserved better, but Democrat lawmakers couldn’t be bothered.
The American people are watching, and they see right through this charade. Democrats love to talk about unity, yet they can’t even show basic humanity to the families broken by their own disastrous ideas. The left’s hypocrisy is out in the open for all to see. They screech about gun violence, but look the other way at violence sparked by their own recklessness. They won’t let a conservative speak without throwing a fit, but can’t spare a moment for a grieving mother.
Donald Trump called out this utter lack of decency, and thank God he did. Because if we leave it up to the Democrats, Americans like Iryna Zarutska and her family will stay invisible—collateral damage in the left’s endless hunger for power and control. How many more families have to suffer before liberals wake up? Or maybe that’s the dirty secret—they simply do not care.
