The Cuban government just showed its true colors—again. This week, the Cuban Coast Guard opened fire on a U.S.-registered speedboat. Four innocent Americans are now dead, and six more are recovering from wounds. This wasn’t some far-off crisis. It happened on a speedboat flying the Stars and Stripes. And yet, where’s the outrage from the White House and the liberal talking heads?
This is what happens when you coddle communist regimes. For years, left-wing politicians have bent over backwards trying to “normalize” relations with Havana. They send pallets of cash, hoping for love from a brutal dictatorship, while Cuba spits in America’s face. The bodies of those lost on that boat are a direct result of this reckless appeasement.
Let’s be honest—if a conservative administration were in charge, the response would be swift and unmistakable. American lives would be sacred, not bargaining chips for globalists who care more about their next cocktail party invite than their own citizens. But the progressive crowd only finds its spine when it wants to lecture Americans about “privilege” or open borders. When blood actually gets spilled at the hands of a foreign enemy, they’re nowhere to be found.
It’s sickening to see how easily the left turns a blind eye to communist violence. They pretend like these regimes are misunderstood victims who just want to “protect their sovereignty.” Meanwhile, Americans are literally dying. The hypocrisy couldn’t be clearer. If this exact attack happened anywhere else, you can bet it would dominate the news cycle—unless, of course, it made the left look weak.
How many Americans have to be killed by dictators before Democrats wake up? Or is defending the “global order” just more important than American lives?
