Democrat Rep. Pramila Jayapal just proved once again where her real priorities lie—and it’s not with the American people. While most members of Congress showed up to hear the President lay out a vision for the nation, Jayapal couldn’t be bothered. Instead, she skipped the State of the Union so she could throw a tantrum about “trans kids” and push an agenda aimed at turning children into political pawns.
This is liberal politics in a nutshell. At a time when inflation is crushing working families, our border is wide open, and crime is out of control, the Left’s obsession is with radical gender ideology. Jayapal and her activist friends are more interested in grooming minors into lifelong medical patients, all while shouting down anyone who dares to defend common sense. Apparently, letting kids be kids is now “offensive” to woke Democrats.
By bailing out of the State of the Union, Jayapal sent a clear message: the voices of American citizens—especially those worried about their jobs, safety, and values—mean nothing to the modern Left. Instead, it’s all about showing off to the globalist crowd and racking up points with the loudest radicals on Twitter. Parents’ concerns? Ignored. The basic facts of biology? Erased. Tradition and faith? Mocked as dangerous relics from America’s past.
You’d think elected officials would feel some responsibility to represent the people who put them in office. But Jayapal is only interested in representing fringe activists and rewriting reality. The Democrats used to pretend they cared about Main Street. Now, their leaders can’t even be bothered to pretend.
Skipping the State of the Union to promote radical experiments on children isn’t “brave.” It’s cowardly, reckless, and anti-American. Maybe Jayapal should worry less about scoring points with the woke mob and more about serving the country she claims to represent. When will Democrats stop pushing this madness and start standing up for actual American values?
