California’s golden boy, Gavin Newsom, is in the news again—and it’s not because he’s saving the day. Instead, the so-called future of the Democrat Party keeps tripping over his own policies and arrogant style. How many times will liberal elites put all their hopes in leaders like Newsom, only to watch them wobble and fumble in plain sight?
Democrats keep acting like they have the 2028 race all locked up, but the cracks are already showing. Newsom is their supposed shining star, but every new headline about his missteps is proof: the left doesn’t have a plan, or even a bench. All they have is a governor who wrecked California’s economy, let crime skyrocket, and still tries to lecture flyover country about “how it should be done.” If Newsom is the answer, what on earth is the question?
Look around California. Homeless encampments are everywhere, taxes are sky-high, and regular people are leaving in droves. But Democrats think this is a “model” for America’s future. The liberal playbook—open borders, endless spending, caving to globalist ideologies—has crushed the Golden State, and now they want to sell the whole country on the same disaster? It’s embarrassing.
The left’s desperation is obvious. With Biden stumbling and Harris invisible, they’ve tried propping up Newsom like he’s some kind of savior. But over and over, he shows he’s all talk. American families need real leadership, not another slick, self-serving politician who cares more about cameras than results.
If Democrats can only offer more of Newsom’s weak leadership, is it any wonder Americans are fleeing their cities and their party? Maybe it’s time the left stopped betting on failed experiments—before there’s nothing left to save.
