The so-called “paper of record” for America’s political elite, the Washington Post, is falling apart right before our eyes. Their bank accounts are bleeding faster than their credibility—if that’s even possible. They burned through about $77 million in losses back in 2023 and kept the losing streak alive with another $100 million crater in 2024. Now, we’re told they’re on track to lose another $100 million in 2025. That’s three straight years of failure for one of the liberal media’s flagship institutions.
It’s no secret why this is happening. People are sick of the constant lecture from leftist “journalists” who sneer at Main Street and slobber over coastal elites. Working Americans stopped trusting the so-called “truth-tellers” ages ago. Who wants to pay for propaganda that attacks our values, lies about our history, and pushes the nonsense of woke globalists? The public’s answer is clear: not us.
There’s little sympathy to be found here. The Washington Post painted itself into a corner, cozying up to liberal power brokers and parroting every fashionable progressive talking point. They cry about “democracy dying in darkness,” but their version of democracy sure looks like silencing conservatives, censoring dissent, and hiding behind anonymous sources. When Americans see the news business as a partisan machine, they take their eyeballs—and their wallets—somewhere else.
Let’s be honest: this is not just the failure of a newspaper. It’s the unraveling of an entire left-wing media ecosystem. For years, these outlets claimed to “speak truth to power,” but in reality they served as lapdogs for D.C. insiders and globalist interests. How many more years of nine-figure losses before these empire-builders admit they’re out of touch and out of tricks?
Maybe the Washington Post should try telling the truth about America for a change. Or is that too dangerous for their fragile egos? Either way, it looks like Americans have had enough—and the bottom line doesn’t lie.
