There’s a dark truth liberals don’t want to talk about: Nigeria is now the deadliest place on earth for Christians. Anyone with their eyes open can see it. Christians in Nigeria are being hunted down, tortured, and murdered. But while churches burn and families are ripped apart, the Left yawns. Progressives are too busy virtue-signaling about “diversity” to care when the blood being spilled is Christian.
President Trump, unlike his weak-kneed successors, actually took action. He called out Nigeria’s war on Christians and put them on the radar as a country hostile to religious freedom. It took real presidential guts—something nobody’s seen from Biden or his globalist friends. The White House today just ignores the agony of Christians overseas, too busy catering to the radical Islamic regimes lining their pockets.
Let’s be clear: This isn’t some far-off tragedy that has nothing to do with us. When Christians are targeted anywhere, it’s an attack on freedom everywhere. But for the United Nations and their liberal buddies, it’s all just “cultural differences.” They’d rather close their eyes than offend some globalist ally. They think talking about Christian suffering is somehow “colonialist.”
Where are all the big Hollywood stars and mainstream media so quick to jump on every other cause? Dead silent. Maybe it’s just not “trendy” to care about persecuted Christians—maybe it hits a little too close to home for their anti-religion agenda. It’s always the same: outrage only comes out when it fits their narrative.
Here’s an idea: how about we have leaders who stand up for Christians? If liberal elites really believe in human rights, they’d stop ignoring this massacre. Trump had the courage to call out Nigeria’s persecution. The rest of the world should follow his lead, instead of hiding behind excuses. Or maybe the cowards in D.C. just can’t stand the idea of defending Christians, even when their lives depend on it.
