Once again, we see the ugly face of communism, and this time it’s deadly. The Cuban coast guard has blood on its hands after killing four people on a boat—a boat they claim was stolen, which somehow justifies murder. And to make matters even more horrifying, U.S. citizens were among the victims. Think about that for a second: Americans, gunned down by a hostile regime just ninety miles off our coast.
This is what happens when tyrants go unchecked. While liberals cozy up to the Cuban government—sending money, food, and endless apologies—the Castro regime sends bullets. They don’t care about laws, basic human decency, or international outrage. The only thing they understand is power, and sadly, the Biden administration seems clueless, letting these thugs walk all over us. Where is the outrage from the so-called “human rights” crowd? Where’s the bold call from woke activists to hold Cuba accountable? Their silence is deafening.
Of course, the regime spun its own story. They claim the boat was “stolen.” Apparently, in their twisted minds, that means open season on anyone who dares to escape their socialist paradise. Maybe if the liberals in Washington paid more attention, they’d realize why people risk everything to flee Cuba: because socialism is a living nightmare, and Cuba is its poster child. No one’s hijacking boats to get *into* Cuba—they’re always fleeing that sinking ship.
Notice how the worldwide media barely blinks. If the U.S. Coast Guard had fired on a Cuban boat, CNN would never shut up about it. Hollywood would hold candlelight vigils. But when a communist regime does the killing, the left shrugs and turns away. Hypocrisy doesn’t even begin to cover it.
Americans need to ask: how many more of our citizens have to die before our leaders stop appeasing murderous regimes? The world’s dictators are watching, and every time we pretend this isn’t our problem, the danger grows right on our doorstep. Maybe it’s time this administration took a lesson from history—appeasement just gets more people killed.
