California Democrats promised green energy but left families in the dark with higher bills

California can pass all the flashy laws it wants—but when it comes to actually delivering on their empty “green” promises, Democrats crash and burn every time. Case in point: Assembly Bill 2316, hatched way back in 2022, was sold as the next big victory for so-called “clean” energy. Politicians made headlines with bold claims of revolutionizing how ratepayers get their power. Yet, here we are, more than a year later, and this thing hasn’t even left the starting gate.

Liberals promised average folks they’d soon sign up for shiny new renewable energy subscriptions, supposedly making it “easier” to go green. The so-called “leaders” in Sacramento are happy to scold Americans for not doing enough to “fight climate change,” but when it comes to actually rolling out programs they brag about, they’re nowhere to be found. If you’re looking for hypocrisy, look no further than the Democratic machine running this circus.

This is the reality behind liberal green fantasies: lots of empty talk, no results, and a hefty price tag for those who can least afford it. Instead of reliable, affordable power, all we get is a waiting game—and not a single watt. If they can’t even start a simple program they wrote themselves, why should anyone trust California Democrats or their green cronies with America’s energy future?
