The Cuban dictatorship has reached a new low, opening fire on a Florida-registered boat and spilling the blood of four people, all because they dared challenge the iron grip of communism. Six others were left injured, their only crime being the hope for a free Cuba and the courage to take action. Apparently, in today’s world, communist thugs can just kill with impunity, hiding behind the flimsy excuse of “sovereignty,” while the left and their globalist cheerleaders look the other way.
Cuban officials, desperate to control the narrative, rushed to claim these brave souls were plotting against the regime. Cuban state media is spinning wild tales about terrorist infiltration and criminal histories—anything to distract from the barbaric act of gunning down unarmed people on the open sea. Communist clowns in Havana say these men were armed, but when has a dictatorship been honest about its own brutality? This is the same regime that has crushed dissent for decades, locking up dissidents and silencing every voice that dares speak out against tyranny.
Let’s not ignore what’s really going on here. The Castro regime feels threatened—and rightfully so. Cubans living in America know firsthand the misery of communism. The boat’s passengers weren’t random criminals, as Havana claims. These were men motivated by a burning hatred for the oppressive system that had robbed them and millions of Cubans of their futures. If they wanted to fight back, no American patriot should blame them.
Liberals and globalists love to wring their hands and act shocked when real people fight for freedom. They bend over backward to defend Havana, buying into absurd propaganda, and always quick to scold anyone who dares stand up to leftist dictatorships. Meanwhile, innocent lives are snuffed out—and the left barely bats an eye. Under the weak leadership of Democrats, Cuba’s brutality goes unchecked. Only now, with Secretary Marco Rubio stepping up and promising an investigation, is there any hope of real accountability.
It’s time America stops pretending that murderous communist regimes can be trusted. The Trump administration is right to step up the pressure. Unlike globalist elites, real American leaders know you can never reason with a snake. Hopefully, next time, these Cuban tyrants will think twice before spilling innocent blood. Or are we just going to let the world’s worst dictators continue their killing spree while Americans become targets on foreign waters?
