Every conservative knows: threaten a left-wing bureaucrat and you’ll get an army of FBI agents at your door. The left will hold up this case like a trophy, pretending it’s proof that no one is above the law.
But where was this tough-on-crime attitude when leftist mobs stalked Supreme Court Justices at their homes? Remember those Black Lives Matter riots that torched cities and targeted police, while Democrats looked the other way or encouraged the chaos? America watched Antifa radicals hurl threats all summer long. Those “mostly peaceful” protestors didn’t face federal prison sentences for intimidation. They were often celebrated, even bailed out by celebrity donors and politicians. That’s the world the left wants—special rules for their side, punishment for dissent.
But let’s not sugarcoat the facts: anyone who threatens violence should be held accountable. Conservatives believe in law and order, full stop. The problem is, the radical left uses these cases to paint all disagreement as extremism. If you challenge their authority, speak out against their schemes, or simply ask questions, you’re suddenly a “danger.” It’s a classic tactic—silence opposition by calling everyone a threat.
The government loves to remind us that free speech has limits. Of course, true threats aren’t protected. But the same people who say this ignore Antifa’s social media tirades and threats against anyone who won’t kneel to their agenda. Ordinary Americans see this double standard. If you threaten a leftist judge, you’ll get years in prison. If you threaten a conservative one, you’ll trend on Twitter and get a write-up in the New York Times.
Here’s the truth: when the left cries about “protecting public servants,” they really mean protecting their own power. They don’t hesitate to weaponize law enforcement against people they don’t like, while their own activists run wild. This is the America they’re building—a country where so-called threats aren’t about actual danger, but about shutting down those who dare to challenge their rule.
Ask yourself: when was the last time you saw a leftist face real consequences for inciting violence or threatening their political opponents? Don’t hold your breath—you might be waiting a long, long time.
