Gavin Newsom just can’t help himself. California is about to let a known child molester—David Allen Funston—walk free. It’s like a sick joke, except our kids pay the price. This isn’t an accident. This is what happens when soft-on-crime liberals like Newsom run the show.
The truth is, Democrats make big promises about “reform” and “compassion.” But what about compassion for the innocent? For the parents who fear every time their child steps outside? Apparently, protecting criminals is a bigger priority than protecting families. These are the policies that turn neighborhoods into danger zones and turn the American dream into a nightmare.
Let’s not lie: Newsom and his party built this broken system. Years of coddling predators, emptying prisons, and lecturing everyday people about “justice” have come home to roost. A child molester who should rot in jail is now packing his bags. And Newsom, as always, will point fingers and dodge blame.
It is a disgrace, plain and simple. While Newsom is busy hobnobbing with elites and flirting with presidential ambitions, real Americans suffer because of his failed leadership. If you want to see what America would look like under his rule—just look at California. Out-of-touch Democrats have turned the state into a playground for criminals and a punishment for law-abiding families.
Any Democrat voter paying attention should be ashamed. If this is their idea of justice, then our country is heading in the wrong direction. When liberal politicians side with predators over our children, the message is clear: your safety doesn’t matter.
How many more dangerous criminals have to be set loose before Americans demand better? Or will Democrats just keep playing politics while our families pay the price?
