Once again, the Democrats are tripping over themselves to remind everyone which parts of the Constitution they care about—if it fits their agenda, that is. This time, Rep. Jamie Raskin is acting like he just cracked the Da Vinci Code, declaring that President Donald Trump has no role in midterm elections. Thanks, Captain Obvious. But it’s funny how these same leftists clutch their pearls about “rules” and “processes” whenever Trump is around, yet toss out the playbook when it suits their cronies.
Let’s not kid ourselves—Democrats like Raskin aren’t worried about Trump running elections because they care about law and order. No, they’re scared stiff. They’ve spent years painting him as a threat, desperate to keep him out of every conversation, boardroom, and ballot box. This tired routine of pretending Trump is the boogeyman behind every voting booth isn’t about facts, it’s about keeping power at any cost.
It’s almost laughable watching the left twist themselves into knots pretending they’re defenders of the Constitution now. Where was all this high-minded constitutional talk when it came to pushing illegal drop boxes, harvesting ballots, or letting globalist interests get a finger in American elections? Funny how their respect for tradition and the law is so selective.
The American people aren’t fooled. They see the chaos Democrats deliver every election cycle—confusion, loopholes, rules rewritten in the dead of night. All while good citizens are shouted down for daring to ask basic questions. Then, when a strong leader like Trump shows up, suddenly liberals pretend the sky is falling if he even comments on the process.
Maybe Raskin and his pals at the Capitol should spend a little less time fearmongering about Trump, and a little more time fixing the disaster zones they’ve turned so many American cities into. At the end of the day, only one group has made a mess of our elections—and it isn’t Trump. Who do they really think they’re fooling?
