Catholic Bishops Side With Elites and Attack Trump While Ignoring Real Americans and Border Chaos

Once again, America is forced to watch as a group of out-of-touch elites—this time, the U.S. Catholic Bishops—trample on common sense and patriotism. Their latest crusade? Attacking President Trump’s move to put an end to the failed idea that simply being born on U.S. soil makes you an automatic citizen. These bishops rushed out their opinions, calling the executive order “immoral” and spinning tales about “God-given human dignity.” Maybe if they spent less time wagging fingers at Americans and more time worrying about real border security, they’d understand why the country’s foundation is at stake.

Of course, these bishops aren’t alone. Every time someone tries to protect the soul of the nation, the same parade of globalists and left-wing activists line up to howl about made-up human rights. Ironically, these so-called shepherds of morality seem more interested in scoring virtue points with the woke crowd than standing up for American sovereignty. Birthright citizenship, for decades, has been used as a loophole to undermine our immigration laws—and liberals know it. They love the open borders chaos, because it guarantees more government dependency and erases the meaning of citizenship.

Liberals love to lecture about “compassion” while ignoring the flood of illegal immigrants taking advantage of reckless policies. Try asking working-class families how much “God-given dignity” they find in overloaded schools and hospitals, paid for by their hard-earned tax dollars. These elites have the nerve to call defending the border “immoral,” while they sit safely in gated communities and demand ordinary Americans foot the bill.

What’s rich is how these voices suddenly forget the real victims: American citizens left behind by policies that cater to foreign interests. The bishops aren’t elected. They don’t answer to taxpayers. Yet they want to rewrite the country’s laws and shame patriots for wanting control over who becomes an American. Let’s be honest—this has nothing to do with biblical values. It’s pure politics, wrapped up in religious jargon to make surrender look holy.

When judges get ready to hear the case at the Supreme Court, they shouldn’t be swayed by noisy activists or self-righteous letter writers. America doesn’t need more lectures on morality from people who put globalism before the nation’s future. If standing up for the sacred meaning of citizenship is “immoral,” maybe these bishops should reread the Good Book. Since when did defending American borders become a sin?
