It seems like every day, leftist politicians in New York find a new way to betray the brave men and women in blue. Manhattan’s own District Attorney, Alvin Bragg, has once again chosen to turn his back on the NYPD. Instead of standing shoulder to shoulder with officers risking their lives on the streets, Bragg happily follows the radical anti-police crowd.
Let’s be real—assaulting a police officer is never okay. But that common sense idea seems to fly straight out the window for some city leaders. The latest slap in the face? Bragg joined forces with Mayor Zohran Mamdani in refusing to support NYPD officers who were attacked doing their jobs. This isn’t just disappointing. It’s downright dangerous and un-American.
When politicians side with thugs over cops, it sends a clear message: lawbreakers get a free pass, while honest officers are hung out to dry. Is it any wonder crime keeps climbing in Manhattan when the people sworn to protect us can’t even count on backup from City Hall? Bragg’s weakness is fueling this chaos, and New Yorkers are paying the price every day.
This isn’t about justice. It’s about scoring points with liberal activists who hate law and order and would rather see chaos in the streets. Bragg’s type of “justice” protects criminals and punishes heroes. What happened to putting victims first? What happened to supporting those who run into danger so the rest of us don’t have to?
Maybe it’s time to ask—whose side is Alvin Bragg really on? Because it sure isn’t the NYPD, or the New Yorkers counting on them for safety. With radicals like Bragg running the show, it’s open season on cops…and criminals are celebrating.
