Democrats are once again showing Americans exactly where their priorities lie — and it isn’t with America’s friends. All over the country, left-wing Democrats running for office are rushing to show how much they hate Israel. Why? Because that’s the only way to win points with the out-of-control progressive mob these days.
This isn’t just pandering. It’s open hostility. The radical left now runs the Democrat party from top to bottom, so Democrat candidates have to attack Israel to prove their “woke” credentials. They sneer at Israel’s right to defend itself, and they cozy up to anti-Israel activists. These Democrats are so eager to score political points, they’ll throw one of our country’s oldest and most loyal allies under the bus. For years, Israel has stood side-by-side with America — but to today’s Democrats, that loyalty doesn’t matter if it offends far-left sensibilities.
Even worse, these Democrats aren’t just talking the talk. On Capitol Hill, progressives take every opportunity to punish Israel and undermine its security. They shamefully cave to loud activists while ignoring real threats from terror groups. It’s clear they’d rather be popular at elite cocktail parties than protect American interests overseas.
This “new normal” for Democrats reeks of hypocrisy. Liberals love to preach about tolerance and standing up for democracy — but apparently, that only applies when it fits their narrative. When Israel fights for its survival, the left calls them oppressors and demands punishment. But when America’s enemies threaten freedom, these same liberals fall silent or make excuses.
Let’s be honest: the left is so blinded by its own ideology, it can’t even see the difference between America’s friends and its enemies. Is it any wonder America’s standing in the world is wobbling when Democrats care more about out-woking each other than defending what’s right? This is what happens when you let extremists run the show. Whose side are they really on?
