Iran’s Supreme Leader Is Dead but Why Is the Left Silent as Israel Takes the Lead

Iran’s Supreme Leader Is Dead — Why Isn’t the Left Blinking?

It has finally happened. The dark cloud that has hovered over the Middle East for decades has just been blown away. Iran’s Supreme Leader, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, is dead. According to reliable sources, he was taken out in Saturday’s air strikes. Not a single American missile was involved. Israel did it without breaking a sweat, showing the world what real leadership looks like.

This “Supreme Leader” was the face of terror. He spent years bankrolling terrorist groups, screaming “Death to America,” and hiding behind his army of religious zealots. Instead of calling him out, the left and their globalist friends babied this thug. They sent him pallets of cash. They made deals that looked more like surrender slips. Did they ever solve the Iran problem? No. They just gave him more power while pretending they were peacemakers.

Now, the Biden administration looks lost, forced to face a reality it tried to ignore. They never wanted to hold Iran accountable. They bent over backwards to keep Khamenei happy, even as he threatened our allies in Israel and poured rockets into communities across the Middle East. But when the tough talk finally turned into tough action, it wasn’t Washington leading. It was Jerusalem. Israel showed backbone—something that’s been missing in our own White House for far too long.

Cue the pearl-clutching from the mainstream media and the “international community.” You can almost hear liberal commentators stuttering, already worried about “escalation.” But what kept escalating for years was the Iranian regime’s terror. For once, justice caught up with a tyrant, and the left can’t decide whether to mourn or stage another useless peace rally.

So, liberal politicians, what’s your next move? Another apology tour? A new deal with Khamenei’s even crazier replacement? Americans are tired of weakness. Maybe it’s time leaders in this country stop bowing to despots and start standing with our real friends. Israel did what needed to be done. Why is that so hard for our side to understand?
