Why the Left Loves Brutal Dictators Who Hate America More Than Freedom

The left never misses a chance to kneel before brutal regimes, as long as those regimes hate America. It’s a twisted game they’ve been playing for decades. Now they’re cheering for Iran and Venezuela—two countries run by tyrants who crush freedom and grind their own people into dust. But to the liberal elite? Well, that’s just “cultural resistance” to the big, bad United States.

Iran’s leaders chant “Death to America” on a daily basis. Let’s not kid ourselves—these are not misunderstood poets or champions of diversity. They are the world’s top sponsors of terrorism. They jail women for daring to show their hair, execute political enemies, and suppress every shred of liberty. But does the left condemn them for that? Of course not. Instead, they tie themselves into knots trying to “understand” and sympathize with a regime that would burn every leftist at the stake if given half a chance.

Venezuela is another darling of clueless progressives. The country used to be the richest in South America—until socialism destroyed it. Now, children starve in the streets while Maduro and his cronies live like kings. But the champagne socialists in New York and Hollywood defend Venezuela’s dictatorship as if it’s a beacon of anti-colonial justice. Never mind the empty grocery shelves or millions fleeing that “people’s paradise”—if it’s anti-American, it’s good enough for them.

This is classic left-wing hypocrisy. The same mouths that scream about “human rights” and “democracy” at home rush to embrace regimes that represent the exact opposite. Why? Because to the globalist left, the real enemy isn’t tyranny. It’s America. Our energy, our freedom, our success—they can’t stand it, so they cheer on any two-bit dictator who promises to bring us down a peg.

It’s shameful, it’s dangerous, and it needs to be called out. While ordinary Americans still believe in freedom, the left cozies up to our enemies. The question is, how much longer are we going to let the America-hating crowd on the left cheer for dictators abroad and expect us to stay silent? Maybe it’s time to stop caring what the left cheers for—and start standing up for America again.
