Another day, another American nightmare, brought to you courtesy of weak borders and failed liberal policies. This time, a 40-year-old illegal immigrant in Houston took the land of opportunity as an invitation to steal millions from hard-working citizens and vulnerable elderly. He didn’t stop at breaking our laws to get here—he went after lonely grandparents and small businesses, draining their life savings and shattering lives for good measure.
This criminal masterminded romance and business scams to rake in over $4 million. Victims thought they were finding love or helping legitimate companies, but it was all a lie fueled by foreign criminals who never should have stepped foot in America. For over five years, he and his accomplices siphoned away the fruits of honest work and sent the cash overseas, laughing all the way to the bank. Meanwhile, countless Americans were left emotionally destroyed, financially gutted, and completely betrayed.
But crime wasn’t enough for this crook—he wanted to make sure he could stay in this country as long as possible. So, after the government tried to boot him out, he tried cheating the system again by gaming our immigration laws through sham marriages. It’s a slap in the face to every immigrant who follows the rules, and to every citizen who expects their government to defend them.
And what about his partners in crime? A slap on the wrist. Out of four others involved, some got less than two years behind bars and another walked with probation. That’s the kind of “justice” Americans can expect when globalist priorities and woke prosecutors let criminals run the show. Where’s the outrage from the left? Where are the open-borders activists now that seniors have been swindled out of their retirements?
Americans should be asking, how many more people need to get scammed, attacked, or killed before the political elite wake up and secure our borders? Instead, politicians and activists keep telling us it’s “compassionate” to keep the border wide open. If this is compassion, what does betrayal look like?
