The truth about Pakistan the world refuses to admit

For over seventy years, Pakistan has been little more than a playground for its military. The generals call the shots. They bully the government, intimidate the courts, and muzzle the media. Ordinary citizens and so-called “elected” officials are left scrambling, always looking over their shoulders. That’s not democracy—it’s military rule wearing civilian clothes.

Let’s be clear: Pakistan’s generals have never trusted their own people. The military acts like it owns the nation. Elections are tolerated as long as they don’t challenge the status quo. The moment a leader steps out of line—poof!—the military comes knocking. They don’t just run the army; they run the show. Anyone daring to oppose them gets a taste of their iron fist.

Meanwhile, the media in Pakistan has become nothing but a mouthpiece for those in uniform. Journalists get silenced, punished, or worse, whenever they question authority. The judiciary? Forget independence. Judges know better than to challenge the top brass. Pakistan’s ruling class pretends they stand for freedom, but the only freedom allowed is for the men in camouflage.

It’s laughable to see Western liberals fawn over Pakistan as a “partner in democracy.” The same leftists who screech about “authoritarianism” at home have zero problem embracing a military-controlled, opposition-crushing regime abroad. Hypocrisy much? These globalist elites bend over backwards to appease Pakistan, pouring billions into a system built on fear and repression, all while scolding America for daring to talk about border security.

Here’s the ugly truth: Pakistan will never have real democracy until the military gives up its grip on power. Don’t hold your breath. The brass won’t let go because nobody in the so-called international community has the guts to make them. Why isn’t anyone calling out this sham? Maybe it’s easier for liberals to complain about America than admit their foreign “allies” are built on lies.
