Capitol Hill is turning into a circus yet again, and this time it’s over the U.S.-Israel operation hitting back at Iran. As usual, Democrats are squabbling over who gets to control the button that goes to war, like a bunch of kids fighting over a toy. Instead of coming together and standing strong against a foreign enemy, liberals are using this moment to play more political games. They care more about looking important than protecting America.
Meanwhile, the showdown over funding Homeland Security is heating up. You’d think that right now, with real threats staring us in the face, Congress could at least agree to give our frontline defenders what they need. But no, the left would rather hold our security hostage to score cheap political points. They fight for open borders, illegal handouts, and globalist pet projects, but drag their feet when it comes to basic safety for their own people.
These same politicians love talking tough on TV, but the minute there’s a real crisis, they turn tail and start preaching “restraint.” Restraint? Iran remains a violent threat to our allies and to the United States. If we don’t answer back, we look weak. But liberals seem more worried about upsetting their friends at the United Nations than protecting American lives. They never hesitate to call out “American aggression,” yet they stay silent when Iran funds terror or threatens Israel.
Let’s not forget, too, how quick the left is to bring up “war powers.” Where was all this concern when their own leaders waged war without permission? Now that it’s time for some real action, suddenly they’ve found the Constitution. What a joke. This isn’t about the rule of law for them—it’s about blocking Republicans and sabotaging conservative strength.
Bottom line: America needs leaders who put our country first. Not politicians who pander to extremists and bow to globalist pressure. The American people are tired of weak, incompetent leadership. The world is dangerous, and it’s no time for childish games. Maybe it’s finally time for the left to decide—whose side are they really on?
