The shocking truth about homeless camps and the crimewave liberals don’t want you to see

The left loves to call them “encampments.” What a joke. These are not sad little camps for down-on-their-luck Americans. Let’s drop the act. What we’re really seeing on America’s streets are filthy gang shanties—makeshift bases for criminals to run wild while city leaders look away.

Just walk through any major blue city today. You’ll see plastic tarps, broken-down tents, and piles of garbage. But what’s happening inside is far worse than the mess outside. Gangs have moved in. They use these so-called “homeless camps” as central hubs to stash drugs, move stolen goods, and plan their next crimes. These shanties aren’t a symbol of failed housing policy—they’re proof that law and order has been traded for “compassion.” And guess who pays the price? Ordinary Americans.

Democrat politicians keep peddling the idea that this is all about poverty or “affordable housing.” Give us all a break. It’s not lack of money or bad luck that fills these camps—it’s crime. Gangs have figured out these shanty towns are the perfect cover for their shady business, and nobody dares touch them. Why? Because liberals care more about feelings than about safety.

The so-called “advocates” and big-name progressives cry about the need for “dignity” and “shelter.” Meanwhile, the criminals are laughing all the way to the bank. While normal people get robbed, assaulted, or worse, leftist officials wring their hands and blame everyone but themselves. There’s nothing “progressive” about letting gangs own public streets.

Let’s stop pretending. America’s cities aren’t suffering from homelessness—they’re under occupation from organized crime. These gang-run shanties aren’t just ugly—they’re a threat to every law-abiding citizen. Liberals created this mess. But will they ever admit it, or do they just want to watch our cities rot?
