Let’s not kid ourselves—public-sector unions in New York already have it made. Year after year, they rake in cash and privileges most people could only dream of. Their leaders rub elbows with politicians, cutting deals behind closed doors. Average citizens? We’re left picking up the tab while they line their pockets. And instead of cracking down on corruption, Hochul just made things worse.
This latest move is a masterclass in liberal hypocrisy. Hochul claims she’s protecting the little guy, but her actions put the unions in charge, not the people. These union juggernauts already bully lawmakers and block real reform. Now, thanks to Hochul, their power is set to skyrocket—giving them even more cash and even more control over hardworking New Yorkers.
It’s a classic story of politicians putting special interests first and taxpayers last. Instead of draining the swamp, Hochul’s policies turn it into a luxury resort for union bosses and their cronies. Regular families get stuck with higher taxes and worse services, while union insiders laugh all the way to the bank. Where’s the justice in that?
New York is supposed to stand for opportunity—not backroom handouts. But under Hochul and her radical allies, it’s turning into a playground for the ruling class. How much longer will New Yorkers put up with being sold out by their own leaders?
