The left predictably rushed to attack President Trump after he led decisive strikes against Iran this weekend. Apparently, Democrats and their favorite RINOs are more worried about scoring political points than protecting American lives. They act as if Trump woke up and decided, all by himself, to toss out the rule of law and drag us into another war. But once again, the facts leave their arguments in the dust.
Trump didn’t just guess that his critics would screech about “legality.” He was ready. He built his case with the law and history on his side. The left expects conservatives to be asleep at the wheel, but this president is plugging every loophole before the radical activists in Washington can twist the narrative. It’s almost funny watching Democrats pretend they care about civilian casualties or military “rules” — especially when none of them batted an eyelash during the Obama era.
Need a refresher? Barack Obama, their forever golden boy, led a jaw-dropping 128 drone strikes in a single country — Pakistan. And those “precision” Obama drone strikes wiped out at least 89 civilians. Not suspected terrorists. Not bad guys. Ordinary people whose families are still counting the cost. Where was the outrage on CNN and MSNBC back then? Where were the sob stories from Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez and her socialist friends? Suddenly, liberal tears only flow when Trump is at the helm.
This isn’t about justice or legal hair-splitting. This is about power. The globalist crowd hates it when an American president actually acts like a leader and defends the interests of our country — instead of bowing down to Iran or hiding behind the United Nations. Trump’s opponents aren’t protecting the Constitution. They’re protecting their failed legacy of weakness and empty speeches.
America deserves more than endless hand-wringing from career politicians. Trump shows guts. He puts American security first and refuses to let hypocrisy define his presidency. If that upsets the delicate feelings of liberal elites, maybe they need to look in the mirror. When will they finally put country over petty politics — or is that just too much to ask?
