Iran’s regime is cracking as protesters rise but global elites could still ruin everything

Iran’s rogue regime is falling apart, but don’t pop the champagne yet. The so-called Islamic Republic is weak—there’s no denying that. Ordinary Iranians, sick of decades under the thumb of radical clerics, have made their disgust clear. The streets have boiled with protest, and the mullahs’ grip looks shakier than ever. But weakness doesn’t mean surrender, and tyrants rarely give up power without a violent mess.

Let’s not forget what liberal globalists and Ivy League diplomats want us to ignore. They spent years coddling the Iranian regime, signing pathetic “deals” and lecturing us about “understanding different cultures.” All the while, Iran’s rulers crushed dissent, sponsored terror, and spat in America’s face. Now, as their power crumbles, the so-called experts are suddenly silent. Maybe it’s time the West sided with real freedom fighters instead of dictators in robes.

The people of Iran aren’t asking for much. They want liberty—the basic right to speak up, work, and pray as they choose. But the regime has shown again and again that it will jail, torture, and kill just to keep its claws sunk in. If the Iranian rulers fall, it will be because brave citizens refuse to bow down, not because some soft-spoken diplomat in Brussels got together for tea with the Ayatollah’s men.

Yet the left loves to wring its hands and talk moderation. They worry more about keeping the “peace” with dictators than about actually standing with those risking their lives for freedom. For decades, liberal elites treated Iran like a misunderstood teenager—never mind the human rights violations or the threats against America and our allies. That’s pure hypocrisy.

Here’s the reality: The fight for Iran’s future is now. We’ll see whether the regime shatters or crushes more innocent lives. No one should be cheering yet, not until the clerics are in the dustbin of history where they belong. Will the world back the people—really back them—or will we watch another chance for freedom slip away because globalists and weak-kneed politicians can’t pick a side?
