The same people who screamed about Moscow are silent about Tehran. Why? Because it doesn’t fit the anti-Trump narrative. If hostile foreign actors can help defeat conservatives, today’s Democrat elites are happy to look away. Liberals were ready to burn down the Constitution because of made-up Russia claims, but when Iran is caught red-handed trying to undermine American elections, they call it a “big lie.” The truth is simple: The left is only concerned about election interference if it gives them a talking point. The liberal establishment, led by folks like Elias, would rather protect their own narrative than protect American democracy.
