Liberal Media Praises Iranian Dictator While Smearing Patriots—This Shocking Bias Will Infuriate You

It’s no secret the mainstream media is in love with dictators—so long as those dictators hate America. This weekend, top networks scrambled to paint Ayatollah Ali Khamenei’s final moments with soft edges, acting as if the Iranian tyrant was some misunderstood grandpa who just happened to dabble in poetry between running death squads. Never mind the decades of oppression, terror funding, or the fact that his regime helped chant for “Death to America.” The liberal press decided the world needed to hear how “soft-spoken” he was, as if tone matters when your hands are stained with innocent blood.

This is a man whose rule crushed freedom at every turn, jailed dissidents, silenced women, and declared war on basic human rights. Yet the leftist media wanted to tell us about his love for books. Who cares? His gentle reading habits never saved a single life in Iran’s notorious prisons. The priorities are always clear: turn a blind eye to evil as long as it fits the anti-Western, globalist narrative.

Of course, these same reporters spent years calling conservatives “fascists” for protecting our border or defending the Constitution. But when an actual Iranian dictator dies—someone who literally ordered crackdowns, executions, and terrorist plots—suddenly there are tears and tales of roses and poetry. The double standard is sickening, but not surprising.

Why do they do it? Simple. The liberal media can’t admit that evil exists outside of America’s borders. They’d rather blame patriots and Christians at home than call out real monsters abroad. Maybe they secretly admire how Khamenei held onto power with Stalin-like control—after all, the media loves control as much as any dictator.

The next time some anchor lectures you about “American values” or “defending democracy,” remember how quick they were to spin Ayatollah Khamenei as a misunderstood intellectual. Real Americans know the truth: no amount of flowery praise can hide decades of tyranny. Would they have written a love letter for Hitler if he read poetry too?
