Iran’s Lies Keep Coming—And the Left Keeps Swallowing Them
Once again, the so-called leadership in Iran is lying through its teeth, and the usual crowd on the left is happy to nod along. Ali Larijani, now sitting at the top of Iran’s power pyramid after the recent chaos, put on some tough-guy act for his followers, swearing up and down that he would never negotiate with the United States. But don’t be fooled for a second—the mask is slipping, and reports are already leaking that Larijani’s been working the back channels, desperate to drag America back into talks over Iran’s nuclear weapons ambitions.
Let’s be real. The regime in Tehran has never been honest—not with its own butchered citizens, not with its neighbors, and certainly not with the United States. Now, with the Ayatollah gone and the dust barely settled from Operation Epic Fury, Iran’s new power broker wants to look strong and unyielding. But what’s really happening behind closed doors? Larijani and his cronies are tiptoeing into secret talks, using Oman as the go-between, hoping to pick up where their failed negotiations left off.
This is what happens when weak American leadership from the left appeases our enemies. When Democrats cower before rogue regimes, dictators see one thing: an open invitation to play games. The globalist crowd in Washington still tries to sell Americans on the fantasy that diplomacy with Iran makes us safer. But every single time we reach across the table, the mullahs reach for more weapons and more power. They spit on American strength and laugh when feckless bureaucrats beg for deals.
Let’s not pretend for a second that Iran has any intention of honoring its word. Every time there’s a new round of talks, they pocket the cash, break the rules, and move one step closer to their nuclear dream. Meanwhile, left-wing media and the foreign policy elite wring their hands and scold any American who dares suggest that maybe, just maybe, a terrorist regime shouldn’t be trusted in the first place.
So when will D.C. wake up? How many times do we need to watch these charades before our leaders learn? Iran lies. The globalist appeasers in Washington enable them. And America is left holding the bag—again. Maybe it’s time to stop listening to naïve liberals and start calling out Iran’s bluff for what it is: just another attempt to outmaneuver a weak White House and a gullible State Department. Is anyone in power in this country willing to stand up for America anymore?
