The cost of freedom is not cheap. Today, we’re reminded of that simple fact as six heroic Americans have now given their lives during the bold operation against Iran’s terror-backed regime. It’s easy for liberals safe in their ivory towers to criticize tough action. But while they sip lattes and wring their hands over “diplomacy,” real patriots pay the price for safety and strength.
America and Israel have finally taken the fight to the heart of evil. Iran has been allowed to fund terrorists, torment its own people, and threaten the world for far too long. The time for weak apologies and fruitless negotiation is over. If you’re a tyrant that sponsors terror, you’re not untouchable anymore. Not as long as there are Americans willing to stand up and fight.
Yet, what do we hear from the left? Endless whining about “escalation” and “provocation,” as if talking nice would make Iran’s mullahs suddenly become civilized. While liberals panic over international opinion, our troops are risking it all. Apparently, some would rather bow to globalist pressure than defend our national security and our allies.
It’s the same tired story. Democrats love to virtue signal while rejecting real action to keep America safe. Weakness, appeasement, and endless talk have only emboldened evil. That’s got to end. Our leaders have a responsibility to support the troops with more than empty words. Let’s not forget who controls the levers of power when policies are made, or when sacrifices are shrugged off by the media.
We mourn the Americans we’ve lost. But we should never be ashamed to call out the incompetence and cowardice that paved the way for regimes like Iran to think they could mess with us. Is this the world liberals want? Maybe if they cared half as much about American lives as they do about appeasing enemies, the cost wouldn’t be so high. When will they learn: peace is earned with strength, not with apologies.
