This year, the media is twisting itself in knots trying to paint America’s actions against Iran as some sort of crime, simply because it happens during Ramadan. Suddenly, our enemies in Congress and their pals in the liberal press act like any real response to Iranian terror is “Islamophobic” or “illegal.” They’re not worried about American lives, they’re worried about hurting the feelings of the world’s largest terror sponsor. How backwards can you get?
Every time a U.S. president finally stands up to Iran, we know exactly which crowd will start whining. The same old names—Ilhan Omar, Rashida Tlaib, the Council on American–Islamic Relations. Add a few loud voices from New York’s radical left, and you get a parade of politicians more interested in defending Iran than our own troops. It’s a pathetic display of anti-American priorities. They see Ramadan not as a holy month, but as a shield for terrorists.
Here’s the brutal truth: Iran does not care about peace, not during Ramadan, not ever. They have spent decades bankrolling terrorists, murdering innocents all over the Middle East, and threatening Americans wherever they can. When the U.S. finally eliminates a monster responsible for all that bloodshed, liberals cry foul—ignoring the centuries-old fact that evil doesn’t take a holiday.
These left-wing “leaders” love to talk about respecting all faiths—except the faith that built America. They try to shame anyone willing to fight back, screaming “Islamophobia” while completely ignoring the real victims: the innocent men, women, and children whose lives are shattered by Iranian-backed terrorist gangs. Why should the United States shut down operations that keep Americans safe, simply to make globalist elites feel a little more comfortable?
At the end of the day, the most “un-American” thing anyone can do is demand that the U.S. stop protecting its people just because it might bother a few leftists in Congress or the ayatollahs they seem to admire so much. War with Iran was never about religion. It’s about survival. The only thing more outrageous than Iran’s terror is the hypocrisy of politicians who defend it. Who do our leaders really stand with: American families, or the world’s worst enemies?
