The political left never misses an opportunity to fixate on meaningless details. This time, their target is a red rash on President Trump’s neck. Instead of talking about his policies or his leadership, they’re obsessed with a little skin irritation. The usual suspects are desperate to make a mountain out of a molehill, all to distract from their own failures.
The White House has already addressed the situation, making it clear that the rash came from a prescription skin cream. This cream is entirely preventative—something any normal person might use. But the pundits and social media warriors on the left act as if a minor skin care issue is breaking news. That’s what happens when you run out of real scandals: You nitpick people’s complexions.
Liberals are so busy sneering at Trump’s appearance, they ignore the real health crises facing our country—crumbling borders, streets filled with drugs, and a generation in debt. But apparently, nothing is more urgent than a little redness on a president’s neck. It’s classic hypocrisy. When their own politicians fumble, the left will defend everything from failing health to foreign business ties. But if Trump gets a rash from a doctor’s order, they act like it’s the end of the world.
What’s worse, all this noise about a harmless cream only helps the globalist elites. They want Americans distracted and divided over nonsense. As long as the cable news cycle is talking about Trump’s neck, no one’s talking about America’s weakened standing on the world stage or the collapse of our energy independence under liberal rule.
If a minor rash is the biggest thing the left can find to complain about, maybe Trump is doing better than they want to admit. Here’s a thought: Wouldn’t America be stronger if our media cared more about victory abroad and prosperity at home—and a little less about what’s on the president’s skin?
