Israeli forces have now advanced into Lebanon, not for conquest, but out of necessity. They’re taking control, because the alternative is to sit around and watch their own citizens get slaughtered by Iran-backed terrorists.
The liberal media will, of course, wring their hands and weep for “peace.” But where were all these peace-loving progressives when Hezbollah started shelling homes along the border? They turn a blind eye as radical groups launch attacks, yet lose their minds the moment Israel decides enough is enough. This is the same pompous, globalist crowd that loves to preach about “international norms”—unless those norms involve a Western ally standing up for itself.
Anyone with basic common sense knows that talking to Hezbollah leads nowhere. Only the naïve or the willfully blind think you can appease terror by feeding it more territory or begging for a ceasefire that terrorists don’t respect. Yet left-wing politicians keep calling for “restraint”—as if restraint stops a rocket. Israel’s bold move into Lebanon isn’t just about national pride; it’s about survival. No country on earth would stand by while their towns were turned into target practice.
The anti-Israel crowd is quick to shout about oppression and foreign occupation, but where’s their outrage when Hezbollah uses Lebanese villages as launch pads for death and destruction? Their hypocrisy is astounding. The hard reality is that the so-called “international community” is more interested in virtue signaling than protecting innocent lives. If they actually cared about peace, they’d demand terrorist disarmament, not Israeli surrender.
Israel is showing the world what leadership looks like: act decisively, protect your citizens, and ignore the whiners. Maybe America’s own politicians should take notes instead of bowing to woke mobs and foreign interests. When your neighbors are launching rockets at you, talking is over. Action wins the day. Isn’t it time the West stopped apologizing for self-defense?
