For over a decade, the left promised the Affordable Care Act would fix America’s health care. Democrats swore up and down that ObamaCare would make coverage cheaper for everyone. Well, it turns out those promises ring hollow—just ask Roy Cooper, a Democrat darling from North Carolina. Even he is starting to admit the ugly truth: more and more Americans simply can’t afford this so-called “affordable” care.

How much longer are Americans supposed to fall for this scam? Democrats tout bigger government as the solution to every problem of their own making. The failure of ObamaCare is on their hands—but instead of admitting defeat, they throw more money at it. Meanwhile, working-class folks are the ones left holding the bag. The only thing that’s affordable about their health care dreams is the way globalists and big insurance companies rake in cash at our expense.
Roy Cooper’s campaign of excuses shows exactly where liberal priorities lie. North Carolinians, and Americans everywhere, deserve real reforms that give more choice, lower prices, and let families make decisions themselves without D.C. bureaucrats calling the shots. But the left is more interested in keeping their grip on the system than actually solving problems for average Americans.
Here’s the real question: If the “Affordable” Care Act isn’t affordable—why are Democrats so desperate to keep it alive? Maybe it’s because liberal failures are the only thing they do well. When will enough be enough?
