The radical regime in Iran is up to its old tricks once again. Word is spreading that Mojtaba Khamenei, son of the country’s late Supreme Leader, is being quietly groomed to seize power at the very top—without ever facing a single real election, or holding any legitimate government office. This is what tyranny looks like in its purest form. The Khamenei dynasty is determined to keep the iron grip of the mullahs locked tight, handing the keys of the Islamic Republic from father to son like some royal family in a medieval theocracy.
Meanwhile, liberal elites and globalist media outlets here in the West keep peddling the laughable myth that Iran is somehow growing “more moderate” or “opening up.” What a joke. When the dust settles, it’s the same old terrorist regime, just swapping out one ayatollah for another—and this one checks all the boxes for deep-dyed loyalty to the extreme hardliners.
Let’s not kid ourselves. The ruling class in Tehran is setting the stage for even more crackdowns, more persecution of anyone daring to speak out, and more fervent support for anti-American, anti-Israel terror groups. While American liberals wring their hands about “democratic values,” their silence on this backroom coronation is deafening. When it suits their narrative, they lecture us about human rights. When Iran rigs its own succession behind closed doors, suddenly everyone looks the other way.
This is the regime that’s made killing Americans and their allies into an art form. The same Iran that world leaders still try to “negotiate” with, begging for oil contracts and appeasement deals. All while its leadership quietly ensures even less transparency and even more oppression for millions of innocent Iranians who crave freedom. Funny how the Biden administration can rail day and night against election “threats” here at home, but turns a blind eye as tyranny marches on in Iran.
No elections. No open debate. Just another generation of extremist rule handed down like a family business. Is this what the world’s “progressive” champions want to hold up as a model? Or is it just that, deep down, they’re too afraid—or too invested—to care?
