It’s about time America starts acting like America again. Today, the Pentagon announced what some of us have been demanding for years: boots on the ground, this time inside Ecuador, fighting back against dangerous drug cartels and so-called “designated terrorist organizations.” For too long, these foreign thugs have sent their poison right over our border, killing American families, while limp-wristed liberals in Washington wring their hands over “international cooperation” and “diplomatic solutions.” When criminals behave like terrorists, it’s high time they get treated like terrorists.
The left loves to pretend these cartels are just misunderstood. They’d rather blame American gun owners, border patrol agents, or even capitalism itself, instead of holding the real villains accountable. Meanwhile, weak internationalist policies have allowed Latin American gangs and narco-terrorists to take over entire countries. While the globalists sip cocktails in their ivory towers, real Americans just want to see these criminals stopped—by whatever means necessary.
Sending American forces into Ecuador isn’t about expanding some imperial reach. It’s about basic self-defense. Every pound of drugs we keep from crossing into our country means lives saved—period. The open-border crowd will whine and complain, but they’re never the ones burying sons and daughters lost to fentanyl. Let’s stop pretending the answer is just more “outreach” and “aid packages.” The only language these ruthless thugs understand is force.
Sure, the left will try to spin this as “intervention” or “militarism.” But where were they when cartel violence exploded right in their own backyard? Take a look at Democrat-run cities torn apart by drugs and chaos. Maybe if these politicians worried less about Ukraine’s borders and more about defending our hemisphere, America wouldn’t be in this mess in the first place.
Americans are tired of excuses. The time for talk is over. Our military exists to protect our people and interests, not to serve as a playground for woke social experiments or endless foreign wars with no purpose. If cleaning up gang-infested hellholes in Ecuador helps protect our own children, then lock and load. Will the left finally admit that strength—not apology—keeps Americans safe? Or are they too busy clutching their pearls to see reality?
