Another Day, Another Overhyped Media Resignation—And America Rolls Its Eyes
Let’s not pretend the sky is falling because yet another legacy media dinosaur shuffled out the door at CBS News. For decades, these so-called “journalists” have acted more like public relations agents for the Democratic Party than actual news reporters. When one of these DNC mouthpieces finally hangs it up, conservatives don’t mourn—we cheer. The mainstream media’s slow-motion collapse isn’t sad. It’s justice.
For years, CBS and its media buddies have talked down to middle America, pretending their opinions and agendas were gospel. They’ve sneered at ordinary folks and treated anyone who didn’t live in a coastal city like a backward yokel. When the facts didn’t fit their Leftist narratives, they simply ignored them, spun them, or flat-out lied. Border crisis? Biden’s cognitive decline? Hunter Biden’s laptop? If it didn’t help Democrats, it either got buried or “fact-checked” into oblivion.
Now, as CBS faces a shakeup, the crocodile tears are flowing. The latest example is Mary Walsh, a fossil from the old news machine, running for the exits after nearly five decades on the job. She complained that the network wants to “aim reporting” at a particular political spectrum and that she just doesn’t know how. What a joke. These people have been “aiming” their reporting straight at the liberal base for years and pretending it was neutral. Suddenly, when there’s a hint of real balance—or, heaven forbid, a nod to heterodox ideas—they throw a fit and claim journalism is dead. The hypocrisy is endless.
Let’s face it: these elite reporters have forgotten that the majority of Americans aren’t waiting breathlessly for the next Blue State talking point. They want facts. They want the truth—unfiltered, unspun, and free from handpicked “expert” opinions meant to sway them left. But the media bubble remains convinced they’re smarter than the flyover folks they despise. When told to actually report a fair story or cover a viewpoint outside the Democrat playbook, they don’t rise to the challenge—they quit.
Every time one of these so-called veterans storms out the door, the oxygen gets a little cleaner in America’s newsrooms. Maybe—just maybe—there’s hope for real journalists to rebuild public trust and remember that half the country isn’t buying the Democrat propaganda anymore. Will CBS ever truly recover? Who knows. But when yesterday’s “reporters” leave in a huff, the only thing most Americans feel is relief.
