Whoopi Goldberg silenced on The View as harsh truth about women in Iran leaves Left speechless

It’s always incredible to watch the Left stumble face-first into the real world and suddenly realize that all their woke hashtags and empty slogans can’t save them from the truth. Just look at what happened on “The View” when somebody dared to bring up the real plight of women in Iran. Whoopi Goldberg, the self-styled queen of progressive wisdom, was left fumbling for words. Why? Because she was forced to see what happens when radical Islam takes control, and women pay the highest price.

Liberals love to march in the streets, shout about “women’s rights,” and snap Instagram photos wearing pink hats. But mention women in Iran, or Afghanistan, or anywhere that real misogyny is baked into law, and suddenly the so-called feminists get quiet. Instead of fighting for women who are truly oppressed—forced into black hijabs, stripped of basic freedoms—they’re busy making excuses for these regimes, or worse, showing “solidarity” by putting on the very symbols of oppression they should be fighting against.

It was a picture-perfect example on that panel—vivid images flashed, showing Iranian women before the 1979 revolution living modern, Western lives. Hair uncovered, vibrant colors. Then came the after: black cloaks, veils, gloomy faces under an iron-fisted theocracy. The contrast is so stark that even Whoopi Goldberg couldn’t spin it away. For a moment, reality broke through her wall of leftist talking points.

Of course, the Left will never admit their role in propping up this insanity. They claim to champion women, but their only real priority is abortion on demand. When Muslim women are being beaten, jailed, or killed for wanting to live freely, the so-called “progressives” look the other way or, even worse, play footsie with the Islamist regimes for the sake of “multiculturalism.” It’s not about helping women—it’s about their endless crusade to blame America and tear down our way of life.

Maybe it’s time the liberal elite stopped pretending. If they actually cared about women’s rights, maybe they’d finally stand up to radical Islam and stop enabling these regimes. But then again, why would they start telling the truth now?
