Europe caves under pressure then denies it Trump exposes cowardly allies as left stays silent

The weakness of Europe’s so-called “allies” is on full display. Spain, of all countries, is backpedaling faster than a cyclist on a hilltop. The White House explained that tough Trump policies forced Spain to rethink their refusal to give America access to military bases for necessary strikes against Iran. But now Spain wants to deny they’re cooperating? Give me a break.

This is another perfect example of cowardly European leaders folding under pressure, only to deny it later to save face. It’s obvious that President Trump’s no-nonsense approach leaves these globalists scrambling. Threaten their money, and suddenly their “principles” disappear. But when it comes time to stand with the United States, they’d rather pretend nothing happened.

Why does the left keep idolizing Europe as a model for America? Time and again, these countries prove they can’t be trusted to make tough choices. When dealing with dangerous regimes like Iran, America needs real allies—not fair-weather friends who cave in secret then lie in public.

Let’s not forget the role of liberal politicians who always give a free pass to these double-talking governments. They’re more worried about getting invited to fancy Brussels dinners than about standing up for American security. Where’s the outrage from our “progressive” leaders when a supposed ally tries to dodge responsibility?

If Europe wants to live in a fantasy, fine—but America needs to stop pretending these countries will ever put our interests first. One lesson is clear: President Trump’s tough stance is the only language these globalist elites understand. Maybe it’s time the left finally admitted that weakness never wins respect.
