Let’s be clear: the Iranian regime’s terror machine is crumbling. Missile sites knocked out. The navy in ashes. Proxies scattered. Nuclear weapons dreams crushed. But these so-called journalists treated it like just another Tuesday afternoon.
While the administration spelled out win after win against the world’s worst sponsor of terror, liberal reporters tried to make it about irrelevant hypotheticals and cooked-up scandals. They asked about North Korea. They asked about supposed “civilian casualties,” as if CNN headlines matter more than American lives. But not one of them had the courage—or perhaps the intelligence—to ask about the open wound bleeding at home: the shutdown of the Department of Homeland Security.
Let’s not pretend this is an accident. Democrats shut down the very agency charged with keeping us safe, all because they hate ICE doing its job. Americans are being murdered in our own cities by radicalized individuals while the agency that’s supposed to stop them is handcuffed by leftwing, anti-Trump theatrics. The DHS is vital, especially now, as Iran and its terror cells look for any weakness to exploit. But the press can’t be bothered. They’re more worried about feelings than facts.
And here’s the twisted part—the Biden crew brags about success abroad while ignoring the fallout at home. More airstrikes, more dead terrorists, but our own southern border is a revolving door. Americans stranded overseas are told to call a hotline. The only advice for families here? Duck and pray Democrats stop sabotaging our security.
This is what globalist, appeasement-first thinking gets you: enemies abroad on the run, but our own home front wide open—thanks to partisan games. Do Democrats even care who gets hurt when they shut down Homeland Security? Or are they too busy painting Trump supporters as the real threat?
Maybe the media didn’t dare ask the important questions because they don’t really want Americans thinking about just how broken the left has made this country. But Americans should ask: when will Democrats take our safety seriously—before another terrorist walks into your neighborhood, or only after the damage is done?
