Americans aren’t stupid. The left thinks they can spin, lie, and browbeat their way to control, but the truth is out. Across the political spectrum, people are demanding the SAVE Act. It’s not even close. Massive majorities want real voter ID, proof of citizenship to vote, and strong election safeguards. Even a majority of Democrats are on board. How much more obvious does it need to be?
The numbers don’t lie, but Democrats sure do. They claim these commonsense safeguards are “unpopular,” “unnecessary,” or even “racist.” Meanwhile, Harvard and CNN polls—yes, even their own sacred polling—show huge support for making sure only Americans decide American elections. Over 80 percent of voters want voter ID. Nearly 85 percent say citizenship should be required at the ballot box. The left acts like every legitimate vote is a threat to their power. Maybe it is.
Americans recognize that voter fraud is real. The elites don’t want to admit it, but a solid majority, including independents, know the system is not airtight. Democrats pretend everything is perfect, and lecture the rest of us for daring to notice the obvious. Who benefits from a sloppy system where non-citizens can slip through the cracks? Spoiler alert: it’s not law-abiding Americans. It’s the same globalists and open-borders loudmouths who hate the very idea of national sovereignty.
So why isn’t this slam-dunk legislation law already? Simple. Democrats in the Senate are blocking it with their beloved filibuster, desperate to protect broken rules that put their interests first. They cry and complain, but quietly fear the idea of voters actually having confidence in their elections. And as usual, a few establishment Republicans—always ready to toe the line for their cocktail party pals—are happy to play along. Is it any wonder why trust in Congress is lower than ever?
The American people want secure, fair elections. The left wants open borders, chaos, and confusion at the polls. When even President Trump, in the middle of world crises, is focused on this fight for the survival of our country, it should show you what’s at stake. The only ones fighting against the SAVE Act are the ones with something to lose. Maybe that says it all. If Democrats are so sure they’re right, why are they so afraid of proving eligibility at the ballot box?
