The Senate just delivered a powerful blow to the left’s dreams of tying American hands against Iran. Republicans stood tall and shoved aside another wishy-washy war powers resolution. This pathetic measure would have put a leash on President Trump’s efforts to team up with Israel and face down the world’s most dangerous terrorist regime: Iran.
Liberals love talking about peace, but only if it means surrendering to our enemies. Their so-called “restrictions” are nothing but veiled invitations for Iran to act out even more. While Democrats whine about constraints, Iran continues plotting terror and chaos. Only the most clueless globalists would think now is the time to get weak.
These Democrats keep forgetting one thing—the only language thugs in Tehran understand is strength. Republican senators understand that America has a duty to protect itself and its allies. When the left pushes for rules that would hamstring our military and give Iranian radicals free rein, you know their priorities are screwed up.
It’s always the same tired script. Liberals pretend they care about national security, but their policies dance to the tune of foreign interests. They ignore what’s best for Americans, just to slap at Trump and appease their woke base. Meanwhile, Israel and the rest of the free world would be left out in the cold, if the left got their way.
Thankfully, the conservative backbone in the Senate didn’t blink. They crushed this dangerous resolution and stopped the left’s anti-American circus dead in its tracks. Will the Democrats ever realize that playing nice with terrorists only gets more of our people killed?
