It’s almost laughable how the swamp keeps trying to play games in Montana, hoping to knock out one of the few Senators left who isn’t afraid to fight for America. At the tail end of the candidate filing deadline this week, something smelled fishy. U.S. Attorney Kurt Alme, an untested Washington insider, snuck in a Senate bid mere minutes before five o’clock. Then, just as quickly as he appeared, he disappeared from the race like a puff of Beltway smoke. And right after that circus, Steve Daines confirmed the obvious: he won’t be running again.
This is what passes for strategy from America’s so-called elite. They think a few backroom maneuvers and sneaky filings will fool Montana’s voters. These political games would make even the worst D.C. lobbyist blush. Why do establishment types keep parachuting in bureaucrats at the last minute, hoping no one notices? Do they think folks in Montana are too dumb to figure out what’s happening right under their noses?
Here’s the hard truth: Steve Daines is one of the last real conservatives holding the line against Biden’s globalist agenda. The left, with their media lapdogs and academic “experts,” could never beat him in the open. That’s why they rely on tricks and shadowy backroom deals. Suddenly, guys like Kurt Alme pop up out of nowhere, only to back out before they even open their mouths to say why they’re running in the first place.
This is the sort of inside baseball that’s driving normal Americans crazy. The professional class thinks they get to choose our leaders behind closed doors, then pretend it was all by the book. If that’s democracy, then pigs really do fly. No wonder people are sick and tired of politics as usual. The only thing that changes are the names on the ballot—not the swampy stench coming from D.C.
Will Montana allow the left’s games and the establishment’s puppets to take over? Or will the people finally put their foot down and demand candidates with real grit, not empty suits who run away at the first sign of sunlight? The answer will show if we still have a country worth fighting for—or just another playground for the ruling class.
