Minnesota’s so-called “leadership” is on full display, and it’s as shameful as you’d expect from the Democrat playbook. Gov. Tim Walz, the proud face of left-wing politics in Minnesota, just got exposed for the fraud rotting at the core of his administration — and his response is running away. Not addressing it, not cleaning house, not being a grown-up, but flat-out desertion.
Let’s talk about the massive Somali fraud scandal that’s been festering under Walz’s nose for years. Millions of taxpayer dollars supposedly meant to help struggling families, funneled through nonprofits, allegedly ended up in the pockets of scammers and political cronies. This isn’t just a couple accidental slips. This is organized, brazen theft under Walz’s watch. And surprise, surprise — nobody on the left wants to talk about it.
You’d think after years of ignoring the issue, or even covering it up, someone like Walz would finally face the music when called out by Rep. Gill. Instead, the governor deserted his own staff — and he did it with the same speed and shamelessness he used to desert his Army unit back in 2005. That’s right: the pattern is clear. When things get tough, Walz disappears.
Democrats love to call themselves champions of the people, but their real talent is dodging responsibility. Instead of taking action or holding anyone accountable, these liberal elites scramble for the exits. The ones left to clean up the mess? Regular Minnesotans footing the bill, struggling with crime and corruption while Walz shrugs from the governor’s mansion.
Maybe next time, instead of choosing a governor eager to run at the first sign of trouble, Minnesota should try electing someone with a backbone. But with the Democratic Party so busy pleasing special interest groups and globalist insiders, don’t hold your breath. At this point, the only thing Walz leads is a parade of excuses. How much more can Minnesota take before people wake up?
