Donald Trump is demanding action, and this time he’s 100% right. The SAVE America Act would do what every sane American wants: only citizens can vote in our elections. That’s it. You show your proof, you prove your citizenship, and you get a real vote that actually matters. How is this controversial? Why isn’t Congress falling over themselves to pass it?
But of course, it’s the Democrats who are throwing a fit. They throw up every excuse to block this common-sense law. Does anyone really believe their whining? They know as well as anybody that proof of citizenship kills dead the left’s dream of stuffing ballot boxes with illegal votes. They don’t want secure elections because chaos helps them cling to power. If they cared about real democracy, they would plug every loophole—not open borders and open ballots.
Yet, shockingly, it’s not just the usual radical Democrats dragging their feet. Some so-called Republican leaders in the Senate are also stalling a vote. What’s their excuse? Are they so scared of the woke media or the globalist donor class that they can’t even defend the basic right of Americans to control their own country? Spinelessness like this is why people stopped trusting the GOP establishment years ago. Republican leaders can’t even act conservative when it counts.
The SAVE America Act isn’t just about elections. It stands up for American kids too. The left wants to shove twisted gender ideology into classrooms and ignore parents’ rights. Meanwhile, the people who run Washington sit on their hands, terrified of being called names by liberals on Twitter. Our country deserves leaders who defend families, not cave to every radical fad.
This should have been a slam dunk. Instead, we get cowardice and excuses. Maybe if some Republicans spent less time listening to the media and more time listening to real Americans, we’d finally have secure elections and safe kids. Is that too much to ask, or are the elites planning to rig the system forever?
