Once again, Democrats have shown the American people exactly where their priorities lie—anywhere but our own borders. Congress had one job: fund the Department of Homeland Security and keep our country safe. Instead, liberal politicians in both the House and Senate spent their precious time dragging their feet, blocking the money needed to secure America.
This is no accident. Democrats love to talk about border security, but when push comes to shove, they always seem to invent new delays. Maybe they’re hoping voters won’t notice. Maybe open borders and a weak America is the globalist dream they’ve always wanted. Either way, hardworking taxpayers are the ones who suffer as the far-left puts politics over protection.
Let’s be honest—this isn’t just about some budget negotiations. It’s about Democrats refusing to take the crisis at our southern border seriously. Fentanyl pours in, families feel unsafe, and still, Washington’s progressive elite sit on their hands while demanding more power and less accountability. They want Americans to believe they care about law enforcement, but their actions prove the opposite.
What’s stopping the funding? Ideology, plain and simple. Democrats would rather play partisan games and pander to their radical base than do the right thing for the country. Instead of standing with border patrol, they side with activists who think enforcing the law is somehow “unfair.” What message does that send to criminals and cartels looking for weakness?
Here’s a hint for those on the left: Americans are fed up. The country is watching, and every time Democrats slow-walk, delay, or obstruct DHS funding, it becomes clear—they’d rather sabotage border security than offend their buddies in the open borders lobby. How much longer will we put up with politicians who sabotage America’s safety to score points with the radical fringe?
